Idk, maybe this comment is pointless but creative people often undersell their skills so I just wanted to put that out there. I don’t know how to make good cc but I want to have good cc so I’m fine to pay for it, some people care about having beautiful builds but can’t create them, so why shouldn’t they value your skills enough to pay even if it’s not custom?įor sure, starting Patreon tiers at 16$ is a bit ridiculous but if I played the sims more for the gameplay and needed good builds I wouldn’t mind supporting 1-5$ on Patreon for good content. You’re still creating something that other people can’t do or don’t have the time for using a common resource. I honestly think building and decorating is as deserving of being paid for as creating cc. Some creators can’t stream making cc cause then people would see they’re just snatching 3d models from somewhere else and converting it and charging money for it lol 😆 not saying thats what this creator is doing tho. Bonus, people would watch people making cc and mods, make money, educate people in mod making and end up with more creators, more cc and mods for everyone, but we gotta be greedy lol So many ways they could get money for their time. I can say I have never and will never sub to creators who charge that much and insist on sending links rather than being easy to access links, and to top it off, only getting that months worth of cc? Noooooooooope lmao hell if I was making this cc myself, I’d just stream myself doing it or make YouTube videos, get some extra income that way.
Most of the money I’ve spent on mods and cc has gone to early access and free creators because I love the work and want to support when I can, even if I could just wait and get it free. Who doesn’t want that?
